Built on the corner of Mona Vale Rd and Link Rd, St Ives stands the latest addition to the expanding portfolio of BUPA Aged Care Facilities. Built on the site of a former camellia nursery, this was an entire new build with AKM working with Taylor Constructions. AKM’s scope was for the external façade. In this project, AKM supplied and; installed CFC, Diversaclad metal cladding and Trespa – a ventilated façade system very common in Europe but only now beginning to gain traction in Australia. The result was a striking combination of colours and materials in a high profile location.
